Roadhouse Exterior and Interior Concepts

I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to contribute work on Doug Liman's "Roadhouse" 2024. Special thanks to Production Designer Greg Berry for the opportunity and the guidance during this project! Exploration of the exterior and interior sets of the Roadhouse as well as lighting and prop exploration. One of the main challenges was working primarily in blender that allowed Renders that needed little touch up in post for quick turnarounds.
This was an amazing project to have been on and grew so much in the time that I was on it.

One of my initial tasks on this project was to help resolve the thatched roofing and stone work of the Roadhouse. 
The initial layout and prop placements were already done by the talented artists at Parallax Studios.

During this phase, it was necessary that the blender file would render as close to the finish product as possible since this file was being handled by multiple artists.

There was a ton of communication to make sure that the renders looked just right for the set approval.

I was also tasked with figuring out the initial set dressing and lighting pass of the interior and bar section.

We started experimenting with the use of these hanging lanterns to really capture that island bar feel.
