Back4blood: COTW Expansion 2 Prison Concepts and Cross Sections

Collection of cross sections and various concepts I've done for Back4blood's Children of the Worm. This section mainly focused on the development of the prison in Act 5.
Huge shoutout to the art direction of Mike Brainard and architect extraordinaire Roger Lundeen for helping push the direction of these maps. This was a huge collaborative effort and thanks to everyone on the team for translating my work into something more incredible in the game.

During the development of the project, we began to discuss on utilizing lighting and set dressing to differentiate the prison levels. Main floor was cultist.

The idea here, was potentially previous prisoners would become crazy and start writing on the walls.

Throughout the develpoment process, we also tackled how the cultist built structures and what materials they used in contrast to the Cleaners.

These cultists had a thing for the theatrical. Our amazing lighting artist and good friend Scott Warren, would joke around that these cultists were all ex movie industry employees with their knowledge of lighting.
